General Terms and Conditions

1. General
These terms and conditions apply to all collaborations with Violaine.be (Beukendreef 48, 1850 Grimbergen – VAT BE 0845.489.216). By placing an order or signing a quotation, the client acknowledges having read and accepted these terms and conditions.
2. Collaboration and performance
2.1 Quotations and validity
- Quotations are valid for 60 working days from the date of issue.
- Once signed, they remain valid for an additional 60 working days.
- After this period, an adjustment of rates or schedule may be required.
2.2 Delivery times
As a part-time freelancer (working evenings and weekends), delivery times are provided for information purposes only and set in consultation with the client.
- Violaine.be undertakes to promptly inform the client in the event of a delay.
- A slight delay cannot give rise to penalties or cancellation of the project, unless agreed in writing in advance.
2.3 Termination
In the event of cancellation of a project after agreement, services already performed will be invoiced to the client, along with any expenses incurred.
3. Invoicing and payment
- Invoices are issued after delivery (or according to the stages defined in the quotation).
- The payment period is 20 working days from the date of the invoice, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- In case of late payment, statutory interest may be applied.
4. Rights and responsibilities
4.1 Intellectual property
- Creations (logos, designs, mockups, etc.) remain the property of Violaine.be until the corresponding invoice has been paid.
- After full payment, the client obtains the right to use them for the agreed purposes (print, web, etc.).
- Any reuse or modification not provided for must be subject to an agreement.
4.2 Responsibilities
- Violaine.be undertakes to provide careful and professional work.
- The client is responsible for the information provided (texts, images, content).
- Violaine.be cannot be held responsible for delays or problems caused by third parties (printers, hosting providers, external service providers).
5. Applicable law
All contracts are governed by Belgian law.
In the event of a dispute, only the courts of Brussels shall have jurisdiction.
